Are You a SEO Keyword Snob?
Can you identify with this scenario? You do a SEO keyword search for a phrase you want to use and the numbers are relatively low in comparison to other terms – so you decide “not” to use the keyword phrase. You pass it up…”snub” it because the numbers are low.
If you’re used to doing your own SEO keyword research, chances are you search for relevant keywords or phrases that have “high” search rankings.
I recently heard an audio interview featuring Karyn Greenstreet, Self Employment Expert and Small Business Coach of Passion for Business, discussing SEO keyword research.
According to Karyn, ignoring keyword phrases with lower search result numbers may mean that you’re missing out on an opportunity that could potentially drive traffic to your website. Read more... (551 words, estimated 2:12 mins reading time)

Keyword Density
It is usually suggested to find 1 – 3 keywords for your content, but extensive research is required to find out which keyword is most searched for, after all its no point of optimizing your website for the keywords that no-one is searching for. So make sure you do your paperwork and jot down which keywords are most searched for and with less competition. Write as many keywords you think of, don’t just limit them. You should be able to build up several phrases from them. While thinking of any keyword search think about following
List down the purpose of your website. You will definitely find some words here.
What would you type in the search engine if you want to find out your website?

Most people are pretty good about getting their webpages optimized, however most people are missing an opportunity with other content. Keep reading to find out if you are too.
Most people don’t realize this, but you can actually optimize a PDF document.
A lot of my content is in PDF format. All my white papers are PDF, as well as my newsletters.
Why?
- PDF content will look good on everyone’s screen, unlike web pages where you have to consider various different settings and resolutions.
- PDFs are often downloaded to people’s desktop and therefore have a longer “shelf life” ‘ they may come across the PDF in the future, but with a web page (even a bookmarked one) they are not likely to accidentally come across it again. They would have to actively go to your site to see the page again. Read more... (700 words, estimated 2:48 mins reading time)

They would have to actively go to your site to see the page again.
There are many other “pluses” for PDFs.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying all content should be in PDF. It definitely should not be.
But there is value to a PDF and it has its place within your content and your marketing plans. Read more... (574 words, estimated 2:18 mins reading time)

My site has good position in search result of Google, Yahoo and MSN with some keyword. But it disappears suddenly. I even cannot find my site within 1000 results of search. I ever heard about wrong violation report of some bad competitors who have other sites banned by search engine. What can I do now? This is really a disaster.

My supposed “niche” ‘new online income opportunity’ had a 24-hr search result of 580 according to a very popular keyword research tool when I started optimizing it. For the past 4 months, it has been fluctuating between 450 to 650 which is fine.
Now, for the past 1 week or so, I find that there are “zero” searches being shown in the 24-hr count. On the contrary, my own website is recording more than 100 hits per day through Google organic search itself.
Likewise another of my keyword ‘where is dubai’ that is drawing a traffic of average 150 visits per day through Google organic search has a total search of 20 per day according to this super tool.
Any comments?
I thought I was pretty good in using such tools, but now I wonder if I know to use them at all. For how can such well reckoned and vastly used research tools be wrong? Read more... (168 words, estimated 40 secs reading time)
